Alan W. Altmann was first a preacher’s kid, then a
preacher. He made his family crazy when he was
ordained as a non-denominational pastor, instead of
following family tradition into a traditional
denominational church.
Born with a rare and crippling birth defect, Alan
has undergone 37 operations to help fix and repair
his spine and lower extremities. At the age of 14,
Alan was told by his doctors that his life
expectancy was at best, 29 years old. That was the
day he began to live each day “right on the edge,
experiencing everything there was to experience” as
he recalls. At the age of 28, Alan was given a new
lease on life when his medical team said… “Oops! We
made the wrong diagnosis… It seems that the disease
you do have won’t kill you, it will just make your
life miserable!” That day was the beginning of the
rest of his life! And Alan Altmann’s life is
anything but miserable!
Alan’s a leading global and international
motivational speaker, sales and success coach and
preacher of the Word! His travels have taken him all
across America, the Asian Pacific Rim, Europe, the
Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Trinidad/Tobago,
Venezuela, West Indies, and even the United Arab
Emirates.
Alan started his career at the ripe age of 15,
starting his first company while just a sophomore in
high school. After growing that company into a
thriving business spanning three states, he sold off
its divisions and joined forces with a Lutheran
Fraternal Benefit Society, spending the next 15
years as one of their nationally ranked top sales
professionals, qualifying for the MDRT, and
receiving a Fellowship designation with the Life
Underwriter Training Council. After nearly 20 years
in corporate America and Bible college training,
Alan took the plunge into full-time ministry,
starting a church, daycare and school from humble
beginnings in the basement of a shopping mall, to a
sprawling and beautiful ministry campus.
Alan’s no nonsense approach to building strong
churches and leaders of integrity, along with his
masterful skills in delivering his message of hope,
humor and inspiration, make him the right choice for
any audience. Invite him to your next gathering;
you’ll be glad you did!

Top 3 reasons to have Alan
Altmann as your next speaker:
Because of who I am….
Alan is an over comer, an underdog, a “come from
behind winner”! People like to hear those honest
stories and get to know the people behind them! Alan
is a seasoned professional. No “off color” jokes, no
inappropriate humor. Al has mastered the art of
communication and has lots of fun with his
audiences. He’s “been there, done that” and has the
credentials to prove it. He’s the real deal!
He lives in a big house, drives a big car, has a big
appetite, and a big tummy to match. And yes, he
occasionally indulges in a big cigar. Add to all
that, a big heart, big faith, a big contagious smile
and a big sense of humor. Now you’ve got yourself a
“big hit” at your next meeting!
Because of what I say…
Alan is a “meat and potatoes” kind of guy. His
presentations have a unique and heart-warming style
your listeners will remember. He’s entertaining,
informative and well-paced. Because Alan was
born with a crippling disease that should have left
him in a wheel chair for life, by necessity, he
developed an empowerment plan of thinking—living and
dealing with adversity. Because all three of his
children inherited the same crippling disease that
Alan has, he has to “practice what he preaches.”
Alan walks his talk, and his audiences appreciate
that!
Because of how I say it….
Appropriate and timely content is the doorway to
improvement. Skilled delivery is the key that
unlocks that door. Alan Altmann has that key. Humor
is important in any seminar or keynote, no doubt
about that. But people don’t come to hear Alan
because they think he presents a comedy show.
They come to listen, learn “and” laugh. That’s why
humor is strategically placed before and after each
specific learning objective. People tend to remember
what they hear, if they laugh, giggle and smile
“while” they hear it. Alan has masterfully designed
each seminar and keynote with this in mind.
Fees:
$1,000.00 minimum, but Alan
receives offerings usually quite higher than that
amount.
